How are we Sustainable?
Regenerative Agriculture
Our farm is focused on developing the soil quality for future generations. by rotating our animals on different fields at different times, we are working to prevent compaction, overgrazing, parasite cycles, and erosion.
Waterway protection
We are working to protect our waterways, we have 4 spring heads on the property, and by preventing our animals (especially cattle) from accessing them, we are keeping the water cleaner for everyone downstream, as well as preventing overgrazing and overwearing the spring heads themselves.
livestock quality
By keeping our herds small, we are able to better manage and treat any issues that may arise with the animals. this also means our animals are much easier to handle and friendly with people.
